What to know about this device

A networked baby monitor handles sound, pictures and remote access much like a security camera. Check the same account, update and remote-viewing settings.

The EU security requirements also cover certain radio equipment used for childcare. They apply to devices placed on the EU market from 1 August 2025.

Check the settings during setup

A baby monitor may remain in use for a long time without its settings being opened again. Change the default password, enable updates and check remote viewing during setup.

A radio model works without an online account

If you do not need remote viewing, a radio model can carry the sound and picture without a network account or cloud service.
